My name is Chris Hanson, and I am running for the Town of Superior Board of Trustees.

I have decided to become a candidate because the next two years are going to be important to the long-term stability of our town, and I have the desire and the ability to make sure Superior remains among the top towns in the Country.

I have lived in Superior for 12 years with my wife Ingrid.  We have two boys, who both go to Superior Elementary, and we’re all truly proud to call Superior our home.  I have a B.A. in Communications and an MBA in Finance and Accounting.  I am a Financial Advisor and Principal owner of Superior-based Trevian Financial, active in the community, and I started a youth rugby club in Superior with another parent.  I have organized community events, such as a forum with Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle, Sergeant Steve Cullen, and Sergeant Vinnie Montez that focused on community crime prevention and identity theft.  I also participated in the inaugural Superior Citizens Academy, which is a 6-week program that educates citizens on how our municipality operates.   I am also active in the Superior Chamber of Commerce.
